Bumble has partnered with Chayn to offer Bloom, a free online trauma support program for survivors in our community.
What is Bloom?
Bloom is our bespoke web-based service that helps anyone who has experienced sexual harassment, assault, abuse, or violence in their intimate relationships, or who simply wants to learn about creating healthy relationships.
The program includes a library of self-guided courses and resources created by survivors and trauma-informed therapists. You can chat 1:1 with the Chayn team to discuss what you’ve learned from the courses. Additionally, you can sign up for ‘Notes from Bloom’ to receive twice-weekly WhatsApp messages with positive affirmations, tailored to the themes in the courses.
Bloom offers courses on Dating, Boundaries & Relationships; Healing from Sexual Trauma; and Society, Patriarchy & Sexual Trauma. These courses provide tools and guidance to help you cope with traumatic events in a safe and empowering space. The curriculum is based on feedback from survivors in our community and continues to evolve to better meet your needs.
We recognise that healing from intimate partner violence is not one-size fits all. In some cases, our members will be offered access to complimentary 1:1 therapy with licensed professionals to support their healing journey at their own pace.
What is Chayn?
Chayn, a global nonprofit run by survivors and allies, created Bloom. They offer open-source online resources and services that are trauma-informed, intersectional, multi-lingual, and feminist. Chayn uses technology to help survivors of gender-based violence identify abuse, recover from trauma, and lead fulfilling lives.
