Your safety and wellbeing on Bumble are important to us. If someone’s behavior makes you feel uncomfortable or goes against our Community Guidelines, you can report them directly in the app. Reporting helps us take appropriate action and keep Bumble a respectful space for everyone.
Below are some common reasons members choose to report someone.
Harassment or abusive behavior
This includes threatening language, insults, hate speech, bullying, or repeated unwanted messages. Any behavior intended to intimidate, demean, or harm another person is not tolerated.
Inappropriate or sexual content
You can report messages, photos, or profiles that contain explicit, sexually graphic, or otherwise inappropriate content—especially if it’s unsolicited.
Fake profiles, scams, or spam
If you suspect a profile isn’t authentic, is impersonating someone, or is attempting to scam or solicit money, goods, or personal information, please report it.
Hate or discrimination
Bumble does not allow content or behavior that targets people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
Underage users
If you believe a member may be under the age of 18, report the profile so we can review it promptly.
Offline safety concerns
If something happens off the app that makes you feel unsafe—such as coercion, threats, or harmful behavior following a match—you can still report the member to our team via the app.
Ghosting
When someone suddenly stops responding without explanation, it can be very frustrating or hurtful. While it isn’t a violation of our Community Guidelines, we understand it can impact your experience. You can choose to report your experience in the app to share feedback and help us better understand your experience.
Other behavior that feels wrong
If something doesn’t fit neatly into the categories above but still feels concerning, trust your instincts and report it. You don’t need to be certain a rule was broken to reach out.
