- Use profile prompts: Add up to 3 prompts to show off your personality and double your chance of a match.
- Fill out your profile: Adding details like your job, education, or even your Spotify favorites can make your profile feel more you, making it easier for someone to connect with you. In the Profile tab, the black circle around your profile photo shows what percentage of your profile is complete.

Use Spotlights: With Spotlights, you’ll be seen by more people, so you’ll get even more chances to connect.
- You can start a Spotlight anytime by tapping the ‘Spotlight’ option on the main menu, under your profile photo.
- Spotlights are available with Bumble Boost or Premium (you’ll get 1 a week), Premium+ (you’ll get 2 a week), or one-off as a pack.
- With Spotlight, your profile will be pushed out to more people. You’ll be seen by more members right away, and no one will know you’ve used it.
- Choose Interest Badges that reflect you: Are you a foodie, a cafe-hopper, or into podcasts? Shared interests create instant connections. Stand out even more by picking a Favorite Interest.
- Relax your filters: Even small changes to age or distance range filters can introduce you to new, compatible people you might have missed otherwise.
- Avoid creating multiple profiles: Restarting with a new profile might seem helpful, but repeatedly deleting and recreating your account can actually hurt your chances. A consistent profile helps others recognize you, improves your matches, and allows the app to better support genuine connections over time.
