Managing notifications

Here's how to manage your notification settings on both the app and web:

On the Bumble app:

1. Open the Bumble app
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Tap the settings icon in the top-right
4. Tap 'Notification settings'
5. Choose which notifications you’d like to receive for:
   • New messages
   • Matches (new admirers, new matches, expiring matches) 
   • Top profile tips
   • Other (Bumble events, marketing communications, research and surveys) 

On Bumble web:

You can manage email and browser notifications on the web. To do this: 

1. Log on to bumble.com
2. Click your profile icon
3. Select 'Notification settings' from the menu
4. Use the toggles to manage your notification preferences

Updating your email address

To update your email address: 

1. Tap the cog icon on the top right corner of your Profile section to access your 'Settings'

2. Scroll down and tap 'Notification Settings’

3. Select any of the following options: 'New messages', 'New admirers', 'New matches', 'Expiring matches'

4. Tap 'Change email address?'

5. Type the email address you wish to link to your account and tap 'Ok'

6. Check your inbox for an email with the title ‘Please confirm your email address’ and select the button 'Confirm email' - If you can't find the email in your inbox, please check your spam box

Note: Your login details will remain the same as before, this just updates the email address where you’ll receive notifications.
