We take your safety and well-being seriously. If someone sends you a message that’s inappropriate, disrespectful, or makes you feel uncomfortable, you can report it directly through the Bumble app or website.
Here's how:
- Open the conversation in question
- Tap the three dots icon in the chat screen
- Select ‘Report’
- Choose a reason for your report — you’ll also have the option to block this person
- If you've received a specific inappropriate message, you can also tap and hold that message on the app to report it directly
Here’s what happens when you report something to us:
- Our team of moderators review and investigate all reports we receive
- In most cases, you won’t need to do anything else—we’ll take it from there
- Reports are anonymous, so the person you reported won’t know who flagged their content
You can track the progress of your report in the app through our Help Hub, where we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
To check the status of your report:
- Open your Profile page
- Open the Help Hub (by tapping the question mark icon in the top right corner)
- Tap on the Notifications tab
- Tap on the relevant report
