As the provider of an online dating service, Bumble is subject to certain safety-related compliance obligations under the Online Safety Act and the Relevant Electronic Services Standard (also known as the ‘RES Standard’) made under that Act.
Bumble takes its obligations under the Online Safety Act and the RES Standard seriously.
If you wish to make a complaint about any aspect of Bumble’s compliance with the Online Safety Act or the RES Standard, including our handling of a report about illegal or restricted content on Bumble, you can do so by going to the ‘Safety and Wellbeing’ section in your profile settings and selecting ‘Make a Compliance Complaint’. This complaint mechanism is only available in Australia.
Once your complaint is submitted, our team will take appropriate and timely action to investigate, and notify you of the outcome once the investigation is complete.
If you are not satisfied with the review outcome, we will refer the complaint to the eSafety Commissioner.
If you would like to make a complaint to eSafety directly, you can do so here: https://www.esafety.gov.au/report.
