If something feels off, like changes to your profile, messages you didn’t send, or login alerts you don’t recognize, someone else may have accessed your account.
This is rare, but if it happens, here’s what you can do.
Steps to take right away:
Do these in order. securing your email and linked login first stops someone from getting back in after you log out.
- Change your email account password, especially if you receive verification codes by email
- Change the password for your linked login method, if you use one:
- Apple, Facebook, or Google: change your password on that account
- Phone number: contact your network provider
- Log out of all devices: open the Bumble app on any device where its installed, then go to 'Profile' > 'Settings' > 'Log out'
- Please note: Only the device you log out from will be logged out
Can't log in to do this? If you're locked out of Bumble or your linked account, reach out to our support team right away so we can help you regain access.
Keeping this from happening again
