Writing your bio

Your Bumble bio is the perfect place to show off who you are beyond your photos. Share 1-3 sentences of fun or unique details to spark curiosity and introduce yourself.

Adding or updating your bio on the Bumble app: 

1. Open your profile and tap ‘Edit profile’
2. Scroll down to ‘Bio’
3. Write or update your text and tap ‘Save’

Adding or updating your bio on Bumble web: 

1. Click on your profile icon in the top-left corner
2. Select ‘Edit Profile’
3. Scroll to ‘About me’
4. Click into the text box and type or update your bio
5. Click ‘Save’

There’s a limit of 300 characters for your Bio, to help make sure your profile is clear and engaging. When you keep things brief and to the point, others are more likely to read and connect with your profile.
