Noticing some of your matches have disappeared from your Chats tab? There are a few common reasons this might happen:
The match expired
On Bumble, matches expire if no one sends the first message within 24 hours. Once the time runs out, the match disappears unless you used Extend to give it more time.
Someone unmatched
If someone unmatches you, we’ll let you know they ended the chat. The conversation will remain visible in your Chats, along with the time of the last message, so you can still report them if their behavior was inappropriate.
They were blocked or deleted
If someone deleted their Bumble account or was blocked by us for a violation of our guidelines, their profile and chat history will be removed from your matches.
You unmatched or removed them
It’s possible to unmatch or remove someone by mistake, especially if you swiped or tapped quickly. Once unmatched, the conversation will be removed, and we can’t recover it for you.
